🌿Rooted in His Love🌿

🌿Rooted in His Love🌿
"We love because he first loved us." - 1 John 4:19

🌊Love That Overflows:
Love is one of the greatest gifts we can give to others, but where does our ability to love come from? 1 John 4:19 tells us that we love because God first loved us. It's a simple, yet profound truth: the love we extend to others is rooted in God's love for us. His love is the source, the starting point for every act of kindness, compassion, and forgiveness we show. Before we could ever love God, He already loved us. His love for us is unconditional, constant, and unchanging. It's not based on what we do or how we perform. It's a love that remains even when we fall short or make mistakes. God's love is not something we earn; it's a free gift that overflows into every part of our lives. Because of this love, we are empowered to love others. Whether it's showing kindness to a stranger, extending forgiveness to someone who's hurt us, or simply offering a listening ear to a friend, we are called to love as God loves us. This kind of love is patient, generous, and selfless. It reflects the heart of Christ, who gave everything to show us what true love looks like. When we understand the depth of God's love for us, it changes the way we approach others. We no longer love out of obligation, but out of an overflow of the love we've received. God's love is limitless, and He invites us to share it with the world.

🙏Prayer:
Lord, thank You for loving me first and for giving me the ability to love others. Help me to live in Your love daily and to extend that same love to those around me. Let Your love be the foundation of everything I do. Amen.

📖Reflection Questions:
1. How does knowing that God loved you first change the way you love others?
2. Who in your life can you show more love and kindness to this week?
3. In what ways can you remind yourself of God's love for you daily?

🗣Call to Action:
This week, let God's love be the foundation of how you interact with others. Focus on loving people selflessly, remembering that you are loved unconditionally by your Heavenly Father.
