 🌿When You Don't See It, God Is Still Working🌿

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." - Isaiah 55:8-9

I've had plenty of moments in my life where I've prayed, hoped, and waited, but it felt like nothing was happening. It's frustrating, isn't it? You start to wonder if God is even listening, or if He's forgotten you. I've been there, in that space where it feels like I'm doing everything I can to trust Him, but I see no signs of change. But I'm learning that just because I can't see anything doesn't mean God isn't working. So often, His plans unfold behind the scenes, in ways we can't even imagine. It's like planting a seed. You don't see it growing under the soil, but it's happening--roots are forming, and eventually, it will break through the ground. God works in a similar way in our lives. Just because we don't see the immediate results doesn't mean He's not busy arranging the pieces, setting things in motion, and preparing us for something better than we could ever imagine. I've found comfort in Isaiah 55:8-9, where God reminds us that His ways are higher than ours. What may seem like silence or inaction to us is often God working in ways that go beyond our understanding. It's in these quiet moments that our faith is stretched and grown, teaching us to trust Him even when we can't see the bigger picture.

Lord, it's hard to trust when I can't see what You're doing. Help me to remember that Your ways are higher than mine and that You're always working, even when I can't see it. Give me the patience to wait on Your timing and the faith to trust that You're working everything out for my good. In Jesus' name, Amen.
