Grace Over Judgement: Day 1 ✨Do Not Judge✨

 Grace Over Judgement: Day 1

Do Not Judge

"Do not judge, or you will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." - Matthew 7:1-2

Jesus' words in Matthew caution us about the dangers of judging others. It's a reminder that the standards we set for others will be the very ones applied to us. This passage calls us to examine our own lives before passing judgment on someone else, acknowledging our own weaknesses and flaws. It's easy to get caught up in focusing on others' faults, whether through compassion or criticism, but Jesus asks us to shift our focus. When we judge others harshly, we can become blinded to our own need for grace and mercy. Jesus challenges us to approach others with the same grace that we hope to receive from God. When we start by addressing our own hearts, we can cultivate compassion instead of condemnation. This isn't about ignoring sin or accepting harmful behavior but about understanding that are all works in progress, equally in need of God's forgiveness and guidance. Jesus knew that judgment has a way of hardening our hearts, making it difficult to show compassion and understanding. As we grow in our relationship with Christ, we're invited to take on His heart--a heart of love, patience, and humility. By examining ourselves, we create space for God's love to transform our perspectives and interactions with others. When we see our flaws and God's forgiveness toward us, we become empowered to extend that same grace to others, drawing us closer to His vision of love and unity.

📖Reflection:
- Why do you think Jesus warns us against judging others?
- In what ways might self-reflection change the way you view others?
- What is one area where you tend to judge others? How might you shift your focus inward?

🙏Prayer:
Lord, help me to look within and see my own flaws before judging others. Teach me to view others with the same grace You have given me. May my heart grow in compassion, humility, and understanding as I walk closer to You. Amen.
